IELTS Writing Task 1 Line Graph: Band 7 টেমপ্লেট (Sample Answer সহ)

Line graph হলো Academic IELTS-এর সবচেয়ে বেশি আসা Task 1 প্রশ্ন। এটি পরীক্ষা করে আপনি সময়ের সঙ্গে trend চিনতে পারেন কি না, মূল বৈশিষ্ট্যগুলো গুছিয়ে সাজাতে পারেন কি না এবং সঠিক trend শব্দভান্ডার ব্যবহার করতে পারেন কি না। এই টেমপ্লেট আপনাকে Band 7 কাঠামো দেবে, যা যেকোনো line graph-এ খাটানো যায়, আর 2026 টেমপ্লেট জরিমানা-র ফাঁদেও পড়তে হবে না।

Band 7 line graph কাঠামো

আপনার লেখায় থাকবে চারটি paragraph এবং 170-190 শব্দ:

1. Introduction (1টি বাক্য: প্রম্পট paraphrase করুন)
2. Overview (2টি বাক্য: সবচেয়ে বড় trend, কোনো সংখ্যা ছাড়া)
3. Body 1 (3-4টি বাক্য: একটি লাইন-গোষ্ঠীর বিস্তারিত তথ্য)
4. Body 2 (3-4টি বাক্য: দ্বিতীয় গোষ্ঠীর বিস্তারিত তথ্য)

দৈর্ঘ্যের ধারণা তৈরি করতে Task 2 word counter ব্যবহার করুন। টুলটির নাম Task 2-এর জন্য হলেও Task 1-এর শব্দ গুনতেও এটি পুরোপুরি কাজ করে।

ধাপ 1: প্রম্পট paraphrase করুন (Introduction)

প্রশ্ন হুবহু টুকবেন না। 3-4টি মূল শব্দ সমার্থক শব্দ দিয়ে বদলান।

Original prompt: "The graph below shows the number of tourists visiting three European countries from 2000 to 2020."

Paraphrased introduction: "The line graph illustrates the volume of international visitors to three nations in Europe over a twenty-year period from 2000 to 2020."

সমার্থক শব্দের বদল: shows → illustrates, tourists → international visitors, countries → nations, from X to Y → over a twenty-year period.

ধাপ 2: Overview লিখুন (Band 7-এর জন্য সবচেয়ে জরুরি)

Overview হলো Band 7-এর জন্য একক সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ paragraph। পরিষ্কার overview না থাকলে Task Achievement-এ আপনি Band 5-এ আটকে যাবেন।

2-3টি সবচেয়ে বড় প্যাটার্ন চিহ্নিত করুন:

• কোন লাইন শেষে সবচেয়ে উপরে / নিচে ছিল?
• কোন লাইন সবচেয়ে বেশি বদলেছে?
• কোনো crossover বা স্থির লাইন আছে কি?

Overview টেমপ্লেট: "Overall, [Country A] saw the most significant increase across the period and ended as the most-visited destination, while [Country B] experienced a steady decline. [Country C] remained relatively stable throughout."

Overview-তে সংখ্যা দেবেন না। সংখ্যা body paragraph-এর জন্য রাখুন।

ধাপ 3: Body paragraph 1 (একই ধরনের লাইন একসঙ্গে)

লাইনগুলোকে দুটি যুক্তিসঙ্গত গোষ্ঠীতে ভাগ করুন। সাধারণ ভাগ:

• বাড়তে থাকা লাইন বনাম কমতে থাকা লাইন
• বেশি মানের লাইন বনাম কম মানের লাইন
• স্থির লাইন বনাম ওঠানামা করা লাইন

Body 1 টেমপ্লেট (বাড়তে থাকা লাইনের জন্য): "In 2000, [Country A] received approximately 5 million tourists. This figure rose steadily over the next decade, reaching 8 million by 2010. The growth accelerated in the following ten years, peaking at 14 million in 2020, almost triple the initial level."

Body 2 টেমপ্লেট (কমতে থাকা লাইন ও স্থির লাইনের জন্য): "By contrast, [Country B] began the period with the highest figure of 12 million visitors, but tourist numbers fell consistently to 7 million by 2020. [Country C] maintained relatively flat numbers, fluctuating only slightly between 4 and 5 million across the entire period."

Line graph-এর trend শব্দভান্ডার

বৃদ্ধি (Increases):

• rose, climbed, increased, grew, surged, jumped, skyrocketed
• a rise, an increase, growth, a surge

হ্রাস (Decreases):

• fell, declined, dropped, decreased, plummeted, slumped
• a fall, a decline, a drop, a decrease

স্থিতিশীলতা (Stability):

• remained stable, plateaued, levelled off, stayed constant
• a plateau, stability, no change

ওঠানামা (Fluctuation):

• fluctuated, varied, oscillated
• fluctuations, variation

পরিমাণ বোঝানো adverb:

• significantly, considerably, dramatically, sharply (বড় পরিবর্তন)
• gradually, slightly, marginally, modestly (ছোট পরিবর্তন)
• steadily, consistently (সমান গতির পরিবর্তন)

Prompt: 2000 থেকে 2020 সাল পর্যন্ত তিনটি দেশের (A, B, C) পর্যটক সংখ্যা।

The line graph illustrates the volume of international visitors to three nations in Europe over a twenty-year period from 2000 to 2020.

Overall, Country A saw the most significant increase across the period and ended as the most-visited destination, while Country B experienced a steady decline. Country C remained relatively stable throughout.

এড়িয়ে চলার সাধারণ ভুল

• প্রতিটি বছরের জন্য আলাদা বাক্য লেখা: এর বদলে একই ধরনের trend একসঙ্গে গুছিয়ে লিখুন
• Overview paragraph ভুলে যাওয়া
• প্রম্পট থেকে "this graph shows" হুবহু ব্যবহার করা
• Tense গুলিয়ে ফেলা (Task 1-এর ঐতিহাসিক তথ্য past tense-এ লিখতে হয়)
