Check your university's specific requirements, including any component minimums. UK universities often set component score floors — for example, 'Overall 6.5 with no component below 6.0.' A strong overall score does not help if one component is below the minimum.
Explore pre-sessional English options if you score close to the requirement. Many UK universities offer 6-12 week pre-sessional courses for students who are 0.5-1.0 bands below the entry requirement. These typically require IELTS for UKVI.
